PAC2021. Fermo for contemporary Art
The project promotes the production and realization of a work by the Vedovamazzei artistic duo with a view to the will by the Municipality of Fermo to start a collection of contemporary art. The work designed, entitled “Bell”, was conceived by artists in close dialogue with the Civic Pinacoteca di Fermo and its art collection, based both on the material reality of the place (Site Specific), and on the whole context ( Context Specific) or a collection of reference for the art of the already existing past, the community from which it will be hosted and the current historical moment. This mixture is based on the close relationship between past history and present so that they enhance each other. Not only will we increase the public heritage of the municipal collection of the Civic Pinacoteca, but the local heritage will also be enhanced.
